About Us:The Kids Empowerment Enrichment Program (K.E.E.P.) at Sedona Charter School is dedicated to providing high-quality after-school programs that empower kids both physically and mentally. Our program combines fitness fun, martial arts, and daily empowerment lessons to help children become the best version of themselves.

Job Description: We are seeking passionate and dedicated teachers to join our K.E.E.P. After School Program team. The ideal candidates will have expertise in one or more of the following areas: martial arts, sports, yoga, enrichment classes, art, music, naturalist and outdoor activities. Teachers will be responsible for creating engaging and educational experiences that promote physical fitness, mental well-being, and personal growth for children.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons and activities in your area of expertise.
• Foster a positive and supportive environment for all students.
• Promote physical fitness, teamwork, and personal development.
• Collaborate with other instructors and staff to create a cohesive program.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with children in a teaching or coaching capacity.
• Expertise in martial arts, sports, yoga, enrichment classes, art, music, naturalist, or outdoor activities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create engaging and educational lesson plans.
• References from previous employers or clients.
• Background check required.
• Valid Arizona driver’s license and car insurance.
• Must live physically in the Verde Valley.
